The Employment & Skills team will provide insight into the work undertaken to help our disabled residents obtain employment and will discuss the opportunities which are available. Before the break\, we will hear from Libraries\, who will discuss outreach into people’s homes and other library services. \nBrent Hubs will deliver a presentation on the various services and support available to residents with disabilities and provide guidance on how to make the most of the available resources. The final agenda item will be presented by the ASC team\, who will discuss the importance of prevention through the Adult Social Care Prevention Strategy. \nThere will be an opportunity for questions and answers. \nThere will be a BSL interpreter and a comfort break to accommodate the needs of the participants. \nWe do hope to see as many of you there as possible. You are responsible for your device\, and in particular\, any data stored on it. \n• Bike repairs with Dr Bike – cycle Instructor mechanics will be able to check everything on your bike from wheels\, brakes\, gears to racks\, pedals and saddles. All mechanics have a wealth of cycling knowledge and will fix any minor adjustments necessary.
