DESCRIPTION:Brent Public Health & CVS Brent invite you to join us and raise awareness of Cervical Cancer in our community.\n\n\nJoin us as we spread the life-saving message about cervical cancer screening. \nCervical cancer screening is a free health test available on the NHS. The cervix is the opening between the vagina and the womb (uterus) and is part of the female reproductive system. The national screening programme can help prevent cancer of the cervix by checking for a virus called high-risk HPV. \nBrent’s rich tapestry of cultures makes it a beautiful place to live\, but this diversity also means that not everyone has equal access to crucial health information. That’s why we’re stepping up to bridge the gap. This event is part of a community movement to empower women and the whole community with knowledge and support for early detection of cervical cancer. \nWhy should you attend? \n\nUnderstand the importance of Cervical screening.\nListen to inspiring talks from experts who’ll demystify cervical screening and other health topics.\nDiscover local health services and resources that you might not know exist.\n\nRemember\, when cancer is spotted at an early stage\, treatment is more likely to be successful.
