Co-Directors Michael Grimmett and Jack Tompkins will hold a Q&A with the audience after the film. \nSynopsis: Meet Matt Edwards\, a lower-limb amputee boxer determined to break barriers and obtain his amateur boxing license—the crucial first step toward his dream of becoming a professional fighter. But the real fight isn’t just in the ring; it’s against a system that continues to put up obstacles\, reflecting the everyday struggles disabled people face simply to be included in society. \nFeaturing leading disability advocates such as Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson and ‘Fury the Gladiator’ (Jodie Ounsley)\, Fighters not only tells Matt’s story but educates and challenges a non-disabled audience to confront the deep-rooted inequalities disabled people still battle today. \nDespite living in an era of progress\, disabled people are still fighting for inclusion—whether in sports\, broadcasting\, the arts\, government\, media\, or business. There is a drop kerb at the entrance to the car park for the Kensal Rise Constitutional Club on the immediate left-hand side of the turning. There is a raised kerb further along\, should any visitors need a kerb to help them alight from a vehicle. \nThe Box Office and Screen 1 both have level access from the street. The box office counter also has a lower recessed section. \nThe Balcony and Main Bar are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. We are very happy to serve you in your seat if you’d like anything from the bar – if you place your order at the box office on arrival we will bring your drinks to you. \nAccessible Gender-neutral Toilets: \nThese are found immediately inside the main entrance. \nCinema Seats Measurements: \nScreen 1: Armchair seats in rows A and B are 18 inches at the widest point of the seat\, and 12 inches wide at the narrowest point. The back rests are 18 inches tall. \nCinema seats in all other rows in screen 1 are 20 inches wide and the back rests are 26 inches tall. \nD/deaf Customers: \nThe Lexi’s hearing loop has been upgraded to the Dolby Fidelio system\, and they have headsets for customers to use in the auditoriums. You can also bring your own earphones if you prefer.
