DESCRIPTION:Join us for the launch of CVS Brent’s new Heritage Project to celebrate the traditional costumes of Brent’s diverse communities\n\n\nREGISTER ON EVENTBRITE \nThe We Wear Heritage project will be supporting Brent organisations to develop and deliver their own local heritage projects focused on the heritage of traditional clothes and attire. Some activities will include: young creatives acquiring heritage skills\, volunteers helping deliver events\, capacity building organisations with an interest in heritage\, interviewing elders\, Bring & Share heritage events to build up Brent’s Museum archives. \nThere are many ways in which communities can take part in this project\, from volunteers to heritage up-skilling to securing a grant to deliver your own heritage project locally. We can all learn about the fantastic traditional attire of Brent’s diverse communities. \nCEO\, Kristine Wellington said: \n“Support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund ensures grassroots organisations have access to heritage expertise\, learning and other resources that are available to larger heritage organisations.
