As part of our efforts, we’re excited to offer an online parenting workshop led by Tracey, founder of The Josh Hanson Trust. Tracey will open the workshop with a poignant retelling of the story of Josh, highlighting the circumstances that led to his tragic death, including vulnerability and grooming by older individuals.
Through this narrative, we’ll explore the far-reaching impacts of knife crime on families and communities, shedding light on the factors that can lead individuals to become victims or offenders.

Following Tracey’s presentation, we’ll dive into a panel discussion featuring representatives including Tracey, the police, community safety teams, and a local councillor.
Together, they’ll discuss the specific challenges and initiatives in place to address knife crime in Brent, providing valuable insights into the collaborative efforts underway to tackle this pressing issue.
