Knife Crime Awareness Week – Willesden Community Skills Workshop

A workshop on knife crime awareness and prevention, featuring expert talks,
self-defence training, and community solutions like amnesty bins

Brent Council invites you to a free community event focused on empowering local residents, supporting young people and strengthening our community.

This event will include discussions with Faz Amnesty about the impact of knife crime and how we can work together to address this, Words 4 Weapons and Raheem Sterling Foundation will provide safe solutions to reduce knife crime in our community.

Followed by a hands-on training workshop from Forever Family providing essential self-defence skills to protect yourself and a workshop from Street Doctors to learn skills to help others in an emergency.

Agenda:

11:45am – Faz Amnesty: Join anti-knife crime campaigner, Faron Paul, as he discusses the impact of knife crime and how we can work together to prevent it.

1.15pm – Raheem Sterling Foundation & Words 4 Weapons: Learn about how these organisations are offering safe solutions to reduce knife crime in our community.

3pm – Street Doctors: Participate in a life-saving skills workshop.

4pm – Forever Family: Take part in a self-defence skills workshop.

Food and refreshments will be provided
