Come join us at the Nature Connection Centre for a fantastic Clean Air Day Festival!
This free, family-friendly event is all about learning, engaging, and taking action for cleaner air in our community.
It’s a wonderful opportunity for all ages to connect, learn, and contribute to a cleaner, healthier Brent. Let’s take a step forward to protect our health and the planet!
What to Expect:
- Clean Air Workshops: Dive deep into what air pollution is, how to prevent it, and even calculate your own carbon footprint.
- Live Community Art Project: Collaborate with WeRestart Charity and lead artist Elisa Cantarelli to create a powerful live artwork using recycled plastic – a message for Clean Air Day!
- Scooter & Bike Hub with Sally’s SCOOTER: Get your scooter or bike repaired, or unleash your inner engineer at the “Build Your Scooter From Scratch” station!
- Guided Family Bike Tours: Harlesden Mums who Cycle and Mums for Lungs will lead confidence-building tours around Roundwood Park and The Annexe, plus share vital info on how air pollution affects children’s health.
- Active Living with Sport at the Heart: Participate in a fun walking activity and discover exciting local projects aimed at getting our community more active.
- Shape Your Neighbourhood’s Future: Drop into consultations with Harlesden Neighbourhood Forum and MPs Smart Travel to discuss clean air policies and green corridors.
- Expert Insights: Connect with teams from Brent Public Health, Brent Climate Emergency, and Clean Air to learn more about local initiatives and resources.
- Interactive Stalls: Explore a variety of engaging stalls offering information, activities, and solutions for a healthier environment.
