Health and Wellbeing
- Paul Findlay (Wembley Stadium Foundation)
Paul will highlight the Foundation’s efforts and challenges in connecting with local communities through sports and events, showcasing the transformative impacts these initiatives have achieved. - Piers Milner (Head of Strategy, London North West University Healthcare Trust)
Piers will share strategies for effective community engagement in healthcare, focusing on recent initiatives and their outcomes. - Diane Shrouder-Johnson (CEO, Serene One)
Diane will outline how effective communication and collaboration can elevate and empower community health and wellbeing.
Community Engagement and Support
- Angela Joyce De Souza (CEO, Goan Community Stars)
Angela will discuss the support provided by CVS Brent and highlight the achievements of the We Wear Heritage Project, emphasising its impact on the community. - Raj Mistry (CEO, BICC)
Raj will give an overview of the Brent Indian Communities Centre facilities and how it supports a broad range of community events and activities. - Erim Metto (Incoming CEO, CVS Brent)
Erim will Introduce himself to the community and share his vision for the future of CVS Brent. - Ronnie Comfort (Interim CEO, CVS Brent)
Ronnie will reflect on his tenure as Interim CEO and share key achievements and lessons learned during his leadership.
Strategic Direction and Governance
- Kim Wright (Chief Executive, Brent Council)
Kim will outline the Council’s strategic vision for the voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sector and discuss upcoming plans and opportunities for collaboration. - Cllr Mili Patel (Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance & Resources)
Mili will provide insights into the Council’s strategies and resource management plans that will support community projects and services.
