Disability Forum

Brent Council would like to invite you to the next Disability Forum meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 16, from 3-5pm. Topics on the agenda include Brent HR sharing news on Brent becoming a Disability Confident borough and what that means for our residents.

Members from Brent Mencap DRaP group will present on their lived experiences with autism as part of Autism awareness.

The Equalities Diversity and Inclusion team will be delivering a small exercise to find out what members would like to see at the upcoming Disability Awareness month celebration event. The library team will present on achieving silver accreditation status and information on other library services.

Finally, there will be a presentation from Project Advocacy who will provide an insight into all the work they are doing to support people especially people with disabilities.
