Join us for a FREE residents’ event promoting repair and reuse in the community.

Entry is free, but book a ticket, it is first come first served. We cannot guarentee that everyone will be seen. Book your ticket and get there early.

Fix your items for FREE – Church End repair cafe

Come join us at the Church End and Roundwood Unity Centre for a fun day of fixing! Bring your broken items and our skilled volunteers will help you repair them for free. Everything from a faulty alarm clock to a squeaky bike. Let’s reduce waste together and learn new skills in the process. See you there!

• Repair clothes with TRAID workshops – learn how to sew and repair your own.

• Fix your small electronic appliances with the Restart Project – repairers will help you learn about fixing your gadget and will do the best in the time available to help you repair. You are responsible for your device, and in particular, any data stored on it.

• Bike repairs with Dr Bike – cycle Instructor mechanics will be able to check everything on your bike from wheels, brakes, gears to racks, pedals and saddles. All mechanics have a wealth of cycling knowledge and will fix any minor adjustments necessary. For any major adjustments they cannot fix, they will advise riders what needs to be done.
