Step back in time and explore real objects from the Second World War up close. This hands-on session offers a unique chance to handle historic items, discover their stories, and reflect on life during wartime. Alongside the objects, enjoy a relaxed coffee morning at The Library at Willesden Green – a chance to share memories, ask questions, and connect with others.

This event is part of the nationwide project Our Freedom Then and Now, exploring the legacy of VE Day and VJ Day. In Brent this takes the form of a dynamic community programme jointly delivered by Brent Libraries, Culture and Heritage and the Jason Roberts Foundation.
