Stories of Courage, Resilience and Service: Caribbean Heritage in Focus

Join us at this Coffee Morning event with author Rose Johnson, as she takes us on a journey through her books, which all recognise and celebrate the contribution made by Caribbean men and women to the United Kingdom after the 1960s.

These men and women were either born in the Caribbean, coming from several different Islands, or were born in the UK to Caribbean parents. They are British and are proud of their contribution to their country, the United Kingdom.

Rose is a proud British Caribbean woman with a passion for collecting the stories of the people from the Islands. She hopes that by taking this book journey with her, you will be able to see what these amazing people have done. Their challenges and resilience will resonate with many of you as you consider your own life journeys.

You will recognise much as you read or listen to how Rose managed to get these extraordinary people to tell her ‘How they fought inside and outside’.
