Knife Crime Awareness Week – Victim Awareness Workshop
Brent Council invites community members, professionals, and support workers to a crucial workshop focused on victim awareness, trauma support and community healing.
What to expect
Film Screening: A powerful short film by Hearts of Talent exploring the real-life
impacts of knife crime.
Trauma & Mental Health Awareness: A Major Trauma Psychologist will discuss the psychological effects of trauma and how it impacts mental well-being.
Hospital-Based Support: St Giles will present their hospital intervention service at
Northwick Park Hospital, offering immediate support for victims.
Victim Support Services: Catch 22 will provide an overview of the Pan-London
Victim Support Service, ensuring those affected by crime know where to turn for
help.
I AM BRENT Briefing: Learn about the I AM Brent service, how to access it, and
referral pathways for those in need.
Food and refreshments will be provided!
This workshop is open to all community members and professionals that are committed to supporting victims and preventing further harm.
