Would you like to find out more about winning contracts from the council?

We are keen to increase the number and value of contracts awarded to local suppliers and want to hear from Brent’s voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations and small businesses about your experience of bidding for council contracts. Your feedback will help us simplify the bidding process, demystify the procurement process and provide practical guidance and support on tender opportunities.

‘Social Value’, the wider community benefits that a contractor produces, is an important consideration for the council when awarding contracts. We want to understand where social value requirements may be a barrier for you to bid successfully, and what we can do to change this. We also recognise the significant social value many organisations in the borough already deliver through their day-to-day work, and want to explore how this can be more effectively recognised.

This workshop is an opportunity to have an open conversation, share experiences and shape how social value and contract bidding works in Brent.
